JamesC from portland, United StatesThe curves and fence leads to the silo and the radiant sky, wonderful composition and lighting. Lovely. 7 Jan 2009 6:56am @JamesC: thx! Only got the one horribly exposed shot, taken out the truck window while stopped in the middle of the road. Lightroom did a fair job of replicating what it felt like. I will have to get back there and take a proper shot. The bones were too good to pass up. Paco Díaz from Palma de Mallorca, SpainI like very much the framing, although the b/w maybe lacks a little bit of detail, the focus being in the background... 7 Jan 2009 7:36am Jean-François from LES ISSAMBRES, Francemerveilleux Noirs .......... une ambiance hyper contrastée ! j'adore ! 7 Jan 2009 7:39am Mike from Lichfield, United KingdomI'm with JamesC. Great composition. You have some fantastic photos in your portfolio. 7 Jan 2009 8:15am k@ from Paris, FranceWow, masterpiece ! Love that running fence and the top quality of your B&W - thanks for this ! 7 Jan 2009 10:47am Scene by Sharon Photography from Kingston, Ontario, Canadathe composition is beautiful - love it! 7 Jan 2009 11:01am bluechameleon from Vancouver, CanadaBeautiful photograph! I really like the shallow depth of the foreground as it get the eye wanting to race down that road, but also stops you dead in your tracks as it's rather a bit on the haunted side. Excellent! 7 Jan 2009 1:09pm dogilicious from Millerstown, PA, United StatesGreat mood created by the b/w. Seems almost like a "dust bowl" photograph. 7 Jan 2009 1:35pm hugo poon from hong kong, Hong KongWhat a unique atmosphere, so wonderfully enhanced by your tone, framing and shallow DOF... Intriguing! 7 Jan 2009 2:25pm Laurie from New Jersey, United StatesLovely country scene. Beautiful composition. 7 Jan 2009 3:19pm twodot from New York, United StatesRe, "I will have to get back there and take a proper shot", a nice thing about local photography is that you can think about it, return and catch a different light. A nice thing about destination photography is that you are on vacation. 7 Jan 2009 3:25pm @twodot: I would be more accurate in saying "finding a proper place to park" : ] The interest here would be the line of the farm road against the light. Steve Rice from Olympia, United StatesA fascinating image that works beautifully in B&W. 7 Jan 2009 5:05pm Anna.C from LA ROCHELLE, Francegreat perspective and composition, I like these lines and the lighting in the sky ! 7 Jan 2009 6:04pm grant from kansas city, United Stateslove the not so parallel lines of road and fence. and all around fine shot. 8 Jan 2009 12:39am Fishit from Tealtown, United StatesNice light and depth of filed ... best Dennis 11 Jan 2009 1:33pm |
