The close framing is good issue here. I like what we can see and the contrast between light and shadow.

very interesting -- definitely lots of detail in the ordinary. The thing that really grabs my imagination are those incredibly tall weeds on the side of the building ... not sure yet why but it sure does hold my attention

@Diane Schuller: thx! Diane. i purposely included those iron weeds—the cast shadow being stronger than the weeds themselves—to help convey both landscape and architectural elements. all the buildings lean forward and the vertical fence post and weeds were to accentuate the structural problems. an odd view for me.
