The 24mm on the new LX3 will take some getting used to, basically it gets everything from your shoe tops out.

Note: I may be intermittently offline due an approaching ice storm.

Nicely contrasted view, I like the b/w of this shot, but I don't understand exactly what you mean in your comment ;)

@Paco Díaz: thx! maybe I don't understand either : ] 24mm at 16:9 is really "wide" for a guy who shoots landscape with an 85mm. I have to get in tighter.

Really nice image the lightning and contrast work very well together with the wide angle.
I´m thinking of a new compact for street shots , do you think this lx3 really worth it?
Some people talk about new bigger sensors in new compact generations , faster cameras , but the reviews of this lx3 so far are great.

@Hikari: thx! For street work and landscape I like it, feels good in the hand, the image quality is good. The rangefinder is on back order which is half the reason I bought the LX3. I have the LX1 and suggest it is better for general purpose use. First Impressions

an LX3... lucky you... The baby M8 as they call it. Nice subtle shot. I particularly like the tones and shadows on that brick(?) wall on the left side; and the tone gradation of the sky.
