In reality, there was a one hour window to shoot the quince blossoms this year. Sun only falls here for an hour, and after this snap the wind got up, then two days of rain washed out the color.

@Anna.C: thx! The photo is a close match to the vibrant red orange and near accurate to actual size. After months of grays and browns, and the usual whites, yellows, and pinks of Spring, the quince is unusual.

Yes, most of the stuff that blossoms early has a short span but that makes it all the more special, I think. Beautiful splash of color here.
