stripp'in room

The small foreground addition to the tobacco barn is a stripping room, where the burly leaf is stripped from the stalk on a cold Winters day warmed by a coal fire in a pot bellied stove. Shot handheld standing in the bed of my truck to catch the roofs.

agree completeely with Zing - the little flowers in the foreground add a lot to the shot, as well the slope of the hill - overall, beautiful photo

Great image Jerry and as usual, the processing is outstanding. Although compositionally, I would like to see the main subject slightly more off center.

@Roman: Thanks, 35mm was simply too close. Needed more top and left frame, but was as far back as possible. In the end it is just a picture "of" a barn without enough frame to fully convey the atmosphere of day.

I've heard that the place where most landscape shots fail is in the foreground. I think you're perfectly safe with this one...wonderful framing.
