Delivered a couple of frames for an out of town group show this weekend, offering the opportunity to shoot someplace different. Just think...with a bigger electrical service and a rack of servers you could go international from here!

Yes, you're nearly in the big time, here. But just look at the texture and glory of this humble building! I'm serious...I LOVE the planes of light and shadow, the sharp B&W of this image. One of your best.

It mightbe my screen, but I find your 10,001 shot a bit dark and lack of contrast. I'm not on my computer right now, but this only happened with your photo. Thanks a lot for the advice on CR 5.5. Any interesting improvements with this version?

I had a quick look in your portfolio. Out of interest do you shoot in B/W or in colour and convert the image?

@grouser: 1. Shoot in RAW colour typically at plus 1 EV. 2. Convert to Greyscale with a custom B&W Preset applied on Import into Lightroom. 3. Then slider twiddle in Develop.
