@Dulcie: Only 5 minutes apart. My intended subject yesterday was a farmer bottle feeding a calf on a small intown farm, just couldn't the knees and elbows worked out in time.

I first learned photography with b&w images and still think they are much more suited for some special images... this is one perfect example of such an image! :)

@Bishop: Thanks! If the subject is color...best to shoot it as color. I look for tone and line. Someone did mention I should get some purple socks! Couldn't find any : ]

I love these US timber frame houses. Saw a lot of them in Monterey in similar period and style to this,though not with the spacious grounds this one has. Nicely composed with those drooping bare branches pulling the eye down into the frame. Not entirely convinced it wouldn't have been even better in colour though ;)
