...last tomatoes

I acquired the K-7 for it's weather resistance, but today's rain afforded the first opportunity to try a long exposure indoors.

Good shot...it's actually fun to see tomatoes in this deep brown-black tone. They look very substantial. Hope they are delicious. You camera did a smashing job !

@Dulcie: Thanks! The front tomato was a purple heirloom, not entirely satisfied with the composition/focus/edit...as usual : ]

Great light. Your still life shots are always inspired. And I agree that the deep tones give the tomatoes an added complexity and weight - almost as if they're made of smooth river stone.

@k@: The K-7 is a "solid" little shooters camera that I am most pleased with! I can handhold 1/15 and shoot RAW to ISO 800.
