Jerry, fantastic. Thank you so much for sharing. I may do the same. Do you believe that the day of my Eagle court of honor, I had a paper due the next day for school - and I accidentally got blue pen ink on my ribbon within hours of receiving my Eagle Medal?

Always knew that you were a straight arrow. My first venture out of the South was going to the Boy Scout Jamboree in Valley Forge in 1950. Our scout troop camped all over the state of Florida and contributed greatly to my love of wilderness. And certainly one of my top three mentors was my Scout Master who was a dominant influence on me.
