tomato cages

Retired for another season. Thinking of things I've photographed this year that are no longer there. One of the churches in
"spires in a puddle" burned yesterday, the barn in "sundown silos" disappeared a few months back...the brilliant fall color of
maples captured the evening before gale force winds stripped them bare. shoot it now!

I enjoy the shadowplay on this image, and its nice up-close, almost abstract feel.
I'm surprised how saddened I am to hear of the disappearance of the subjects of those two very special photos from the past...to learn they are no more.

Wonderful abstract and mood... the contrast, patterns and textures are just fantastic!!!
I guess I can share your feeling - so many street scenes I've photographed in the past few years have just 'vanished'... yes, shoot now!

I love the composition here. And I'm saddened to hear of the disappearance of the places you've shown us. We have the same here on a daily basis.
