With the 1680x1050 screen resolution of the new MBP, I can see a lot more images in Lightroom Library. The irony is that I can see snow images yet it will be 87º F today.

I like the composition, but am a bit in disagreement with the level of sharpness of the flowers and the transparent vase. You have so many good shots in your portfolio.
Hope you don't mind my opinion but this one's below par for me.

@larry: Glad somebody is paying attention! I needed to set a tripod to nail the selective focus in the low light. Sloppy work commitied in haste.

First - let me comment that this is a wonderful still-life. Hanging the details on those few small flowers while letting the rest of the image go soft is very compelling. 'Signature' Jerry.

In my early years - my dad delivered dairy products door-to-door in these bottles. Every home had a small insulated box by the door into which their order would go, along with a scoop of ice to keep things chill.

Recently, I discovered that my local Whole Foods Store carries the 'Straus' line of organic dairy in these old yet familiar bottles. I had to buy a half-pint of whole cream (that'll make your coffee a treat). $3 for a single cup but I guess that includes some deposit for the recyclable bottle. It sits on the shelf near my desk - a reminder of days gone by...
